In 2002, our 150th anniversary year we decided to keep the tradition of the James Crockart name as a gun maker going by starting to manufacture a best quality over and under side lock game gun, using only deluxe grade materials.

The new guns are available in 12, 16, 20, 28 bore with a Prince of Wales stock and barrel lengths of 27” to 32” with long tapering fixed chokes and chambers of 21/2” to 3”. The trigger type is a single non selective trigger (sequence top, bottom) with an automatic safety catch.

The engraving is a Purdy scroll pattern (as illustrated in the Photographs) or there are three other in house patterns avaliable, other designs can be used to suit your requirements and these will be quoted for at the time of enquiry.

We now have plans to extend the range of new Crockart guns to include a side by side and a sporting rifle, both to built to the same exacting standards as the over and under and to incorporate the same deluxe grade materials.
